Finished Product

About 600 pictures later... we finally got three we liked of Annie. Here is the picture part of her graduation announcement.
The announcement part she printed on plantable paper (the paper is made with wildflower seeds in it, so you plant it!) I think we finally captured the 'Anni' essence.

Where's Mine?

I don't mean to brag... but MAN, my siblings are a talented group of folks. I don't know what happened to my genetic allotment of talent. Annie and Shane just recently teamed up to make a longboard for Annie's friend Anna. They brought the deck up tonight to show her, and DANG, it was SAWEET! Anna loves wolves, so Annie did a painting on the bottom, and Shane is going to customize the grip tape into cool patterns on top. I think we have convinced Shane to start a business, so I'll let you know how that goes... anyways, here is the board. It's not the best picture, but you can get the idea.
Even if you aren't into wolves... it's still a beautiful picture.

Brain Dump #2

We went riding with mi familia a little while ago, Matt crashed and scraped up his knee pretty good. Anyone surprised? I am, and only because he scraped his knee through his knee guards. Pretty weird. On the way home we stopped at these cool old railroad tracks. When my mom saw this picture of Matt and I, she said "you guys look like twins!" oh mom, what a strange thing to say... One day Annie and her friends Anna and Drew came over with some polywogs that they had caught in the wetlands. They were going to sell them, but then they got sick of them so they threw them from the second story of our building into our nearly empty pool.

I have an update on our good friend Launi. I kept getting tons of calls from that same number that left her a message, so finally I answered the phone. "Hi, this is Carol from Arizona Tech. Is this Launi?" Dun dun dun!!! Same number, two different people from two different schools. Something strange is afoot at the circle K! I think someone is out to get her, because another , different number kept calling too, and when I finally answered that one, they were also looking for Launi. Good thing I finally picked up, or the mystery people may have traced my cell phone and assassinated me. Now they just have to keep searching for the allusive Launi.

For Sale:Gently used hair extensions, 30$ Contact Annie.

For mother's day, I decided that I wanted the children in my family to all agree to participate in a family picture for my mom. (we are lacking in family photos since no one will ever smile or cooperate) After a bunch of texts, I had everyones support. Sunday came around and my mom was presented with a 'free family picture' coupon with all of our signatures. I told everyone that they could wear 'blue jeans on your butt, and anything you want on top." I only quote because I realize now what a foolish thing it was to say..

.

Needless to say, we will have to try for family pictures another day...

At least we talked Shane out of wearing his hunting jacket...

And one last thing... I am planning an epic Troll 2 party! It's going to be awesome! The only thing standing in my way now, is lack of a projector, since we wanted to watch the movie outside. So, if anyone has one or knows of a place to rent them around Provo, let me know! And of course, EVERYONE is invited! (get excited! I'll give more details later!)

Anni

I know... my blog had begun turning into 'all things Anni' (I decided to drop the unecessary 'e'). But I just wanted to put up some of the pictures we took for her senior pictures. We were having a hard time taking a picture that truly captured her 'essence' so we basically just took a bunch of random pictures... pretending like we were Tyra and Nigel. We'll have to try for another day to get some real pictures she can send out.

My thought for today

I don't pick up the phone if I don't know the number. Ever. So it bothers me when people don't leave messages. It also bothers me even more when callers leave messages for people that are not myself.

I avoided not one, but two calls from the same unknown number just barely... and they finally left a message for Launi. "I hope I got the right number," the voice said.

Well, sorry to tell you Linda from Cordon Bleu culinary arts school, this is Kristal, just like the message told you.

And, I'm not going to be returning your call.

Just something I thought I would throw out there since I have nothing else to blog about. My life right now can be summarized in one line: Data entry, this is Kristal
