The Plan

So my blog is a little crazy and random if anything... just a collection of my ramblings. But every once in awhile, I like to tell you people what is actually going down at the Carters. I am a big long term planner... I don't care if I know what I am doing tomorrow as long as I have a good idea of what will be going on in five years. So, here it is folks!

Graduation: It is upon us! Matt and I will both be graduating in April with our bachelors! Mine is Health Education, minor in PE and Matt's is in Physics with a Chemistry minor. (I had to say mine first, because if Matt goes first then mine seems dumber)

Senior Trip: I never did one for high school, so Matt and I are compensating for that by taking a trip to Europe in May! We are going with some of our friends the Stokes and the Paces. Its going to be EPIC.

Summer: We will be in Utah! Hurray, I really like that state of mine. Matt is hoping to do some research and I am hoping to just hang out at my parents house and be lazy (not going to happen, but like I said, I hope to do that)

China: Hot digity, Matt and I are moving to China! No joke folks... it will only be a year, but that seems like a long enough time to consider it a move right? We will be teaching English there, and this has gone from dreaming phases to planning phases, we are working on getting resumes, cover letters and letters of recommendation together. We are super excited! The only thing that would stop us now is a little addition to the family. We have been talking about doing this since we were dating!

Graduate School: After we return from our foreign sabbatical, we will be going to graduate school for Matt (no more for me thanks) He is going for a PhD in physics. Apparently there is a lot of demand for physicists, and there is a lot they can do, but I still don't know exactly what it is that they do... sorry. (also, just a side note: we were watching The Day the Earth Stood Still, and I told Matt that he should be a Nuclear Physicist because they sound smart, and he said: "No, nuclear physics is pretty boring." Boring? What a weirdy.) Anyways... we are hoping to go to University of Utah (lots of free babysitting from my teenage siblings) or BYU, and if we get in to UC Berkley, we would probably go there. Then, that will be the plan for the next five or six years!

Now you all are in the loop! Aren't you glad to know all this stuff about us?

I didn't see anything in your plan about moving to Yakima or about creating a Carter Compound. Kristal, you have been telling me lies! Lies!!!

I'm SO excited for you guys to be in Utah even if its not going to be for that long. We just need to get Kristal knocked up so they'll stay here and bit longer.

Work on that Matt! hahaha!

I am not sure about the free babysitting from the siblings. I am still hearing horror stories(I suspect they are greatly exadurated (I am pretty sure that is spelled wrong) well you know you have heard the stroies about the tyrant "Kristal the Babysitter"
Either you really had them whipped litterally and psychologically or they are exadurating, because we had no clue, which is sometimes the case with parents.

All sounds exciting and I wish I could do it all with you. Yeah, take your mother in law on all your adventures. I vote for Berkeley.
