Haircut

Matt was in dreadful need of a haircut, so we went to the most respectable looking place to try our luck. Unfortunately, Matt's Chinese classes didn't offer a lesson on 'haircutting' so he walked in, made a signal like scissors cutting his hair and we were off! I think it turned out pretty good, and perhaps I will trust them to cut mine. Perhaps.

I thought it was funny that practically every employee there was male. And one of them had a mullet.

Matt's favorite part of getting his hair cut is when they wash his hair, luckily, they washed it twice. Lucky guy.

I was talking with some of my students later, and apparently the two dollars we paid for his cut was a little extreme. Whoops. Who knew?

I would also like to note that Matt has now has now blow dried his hair in China more times than me.

Very cool! I remember that about China too, that mostly guys worked at the hair places. I had a friend who was like, I'll get my hair dyed a dark auburn. It turned out clown orange because they bleached it so much.

It looks more like he is getting a massage. I would go in just for the wash and blow. Hair grows back (:
