Help Me Out

This week was really rainy and freezing... so Matt and I spent a big part of our time inside, and we got a glimpse into the next few months of our lives. And it contains lots of movie/tv show watching.

I know it sounds totally lame, but really, we get done teaching at noon, then we have about an hour window when our awake time is the same as America's wake time, so we talk to our families, and then we have the whooooole afternoon to ourselves.

Basically, we get a little bored. What are some of your favorite movies? Or TV shows? I would greatly appreciate it! We need some new movies to watch!

Oh, just let my predict right now that my mom is either going to comment, or just be thinking about how there are so many more productive ways to spend my time! Trust me mom... I can only be productive for so long.

Hmmm... all of the shows that we enjoy you introduced us to... so I don't think we are going to be too helpful. Have you watched Heros? We've never seen it but have heard that it is good.

Yes, grasshopper. Confusius says" The road to no where is paved with good intentions" Hire your cook friend to teach you how to pull noodles, or learn Kung Fu, Chinese language ...etc.etc,etc! Ok, so I am not your birth mother...but I think all moms think the same way. We like the new show " White Collar" and Castle.

Go for "How I met your mother", "The big bang theory", and "Community". If you can get "The Shark Tank", that was interesting too, but I think it got canceled. Still good.

So I am not your mom either but I agree with her and April! Find out how to fix some of that good food you are talking about. Write your life history thus far! Get on line if you can and do family history work, you know that there has got to be some you can find to work on. Create a cookbook of your own favorites, write letters telling your future children about your experiences in China etc., Needle work is always great. Find some Chinees fabrics and make a quilt from them, the list goes on...as for movies and shows, "White Collar" is good classic movies like The Great Escape, Princess Bride, Indiana Jones, 1st and 3rd I think I did not care for 2 and 4 much. The Greatest Gift, Hoosers, Remember the Titans, just to name a few. Then there are the chick flicks but I leave them out for Matts sake.
