My life as a homemaker

homemaker

[hohm-mey-kernoun: a term used to describe a married female who is not employed outside of the home.

Ya, that's me. Matt likes to think that I sit at home all day and eat bonbons, but such is not the case. Here's how I've been keeping myself occupied:

Scoping out the Joann's ads for pattern sales. I hoard costume patterns like they are going out of print.

I'm quit obsessed with felt food. No idea why. I think it was my first trip to Ikea that did me in, with their far too cute play kitchens. So far, I've made half a sandwich (it took me all day), bow tie pasta and raviolis.  There's too many tutorials I want to try!

Making the cupcakes from this great book. (these are supposed to be coals, with rice cake hamburgers cooking on top)

I've also been working on quilts, knitting baby hats and sewing lots of random stuff, but I won't lie, I've also been wasting a colossal amount of time.

But all in all, I love it. Being a homemaker is great.

Wow, you are an awesome homemaker. I don't do anything cool. I need someone to teach me how to sew. I'm totally intimidated by the fabric store.
