Valentine's Day

Matt had today off, and since Natalie retires early to bed we decided to celebrate Valentine's day with a picnic and some family pictures. 

Look at me sitting with all the candid-ness that a timer and tripod provide. 

Matt: I feel like I should say 'hold my beer' and then do something stupid. (Ya, it's just IBC cream soda, we know how to celebrate)

This little trail is pretty much beautiful, and I can't wait for spring and some green cause the pictures don't do it justice. Plus, a recent flood left a lot of debris around the riverbed.

After I set it up, I was having a hard time getting her away from the tripod. 

A little more 'posey' than I would have liked, but when I gotta use a tripod/timer, grab that little munchkin and get settled before the camera starts ticking you take what you can get. And I think it was worth the effort. 

I really just wanted to take some family pictures because this little family of mine has some news:

That's right, I'm not trying to give you a body profile on accident.

I'm pregnant and due in July! 

We are pretty stinking excited. I'm 17 weeks and (don't judge) just had my first doctor's appointment, so that's why we've been keeping it a secret. So far everything looks good and in a couple weeks here we find out if Natalie is losing her only child status to a brother or sister.
