To say this guy had a spending problem was a bit of an understatement... you know they never finished this place?
However, Hearst Castle was definitely worth the trip! It's about an hour from base, and a fun way to spend the afternoon. It was a little pricey at 25$ a ticket/per area, and it was super busy(cholk full of Chinese tourists that made Matt wish he spoke better Mandarin) so I would recommend reserving your ticket online beforehand. Also, no strollers allowed, plan accordingly. Our internet was down in the morning so we just decided to wing it. The 'Grand Rooms' tour was sold out when we got there, so we did the cottages and kitchens tour (still cool, but we wanted to see the main house)

Wow! That place looks amazing!
I remember we all dared each other to jump into that awesome pool while we were there. Yeah, I think I wouldn't mind living there.
